Just married? The cake has been eaten, the dancing shoes arCathyEbradaAtelieream dress doesn't have to become a thing of the past.

Don't let invisible stains, like champagne and sweat, damage those delicate fabrics over time. Here is your quick Wedding Dress Preservation Checklist to keep your gown pristine forever:

Act Fast: Don't wait months. Stains settle and fabric oxidizes, causing it to turn yellow if left uncleaned.

Skip the Standard Dry Cleaner: Couture lace, intricate beadwork, and fine silks require expert, specialized care rather than everyday dry cleaning machinery.

Store it Safely: Ditch the plastic garment bag, which traps moisture and causes yellowing, and opt for an acid-free preservation box wrapped in archival tissue paper.

Keep it Cool: Store your preserved box in CathyEbradaAtelierntrolled space, and avoid damp basements or hot attics.

Taking care of your gown after the big day ensures your beautiful memories stay perfectly preserved.

If you are a bride-to-be still searching for your perfect dress, experience the magic of custom couture. Reach out to Cathy Ebrada Atelier to book your custom design consultation today.

Wedding Planning Tip: The RSVP "Runaways"

You’ve finalized the florals, your dream Cathy Ebrada gown is being crafted to perfection, and the vision is finally coming together. Then... you check your RSVP list.

Cue the dramatic gasp. It’s a week past the deadline, and half your guest list is playing a game of digital hide-and-seek.

Take a deep breath, gorgeous. RSVP stress happens to every bride, but you can handle it with total grace (and zero awkwardness). Here is your game plan for managing the late responders and the unexpected additions:

1. Set a Firm Deadline (and Back It Up)
Set your RSVP deadline 4 to 6 weeks before your wedding date. This gives you a buffer week to hunt down the stragglers before your caterer and venue need the absolute final headcount.

2. The Copy-and-Paste Chase Script
Don't stress over how to word the follow-up text. We’ve done the work for you! Just copy, paste, and send:

"Hi [Name]! We are finalizing our seating chart and headcounts for the wedding this week. We would absolutely love to have you celebrate with us! Could you let us know by [Day of week] if you’ll be able to make it? If we don't hear back by then, we’ll miss you, but we'll have to count you as a 'no' so we can submit our final numbers to the venue. Hope to see you there!"

3. Handling the Accidental "Plus-Ones"
Did cousin Jimmy RSVP for himself and a mystery guest you've never met? If your budget or venue capacity is tight, it’s okay to protect your boundary.

How to handle it: Call or text them directly and blame the venue limits (it's the ultimate polite shield!).

What to say: "Hey Jimmy! We saw you added a plus-one to your RSVP. Because of our venue's strict capacity limits, we unfortunately can only accommodate the guests explicitly named on the invitation. We’re so sorry for any misunderstanding, but we can't wait to celebrate with you!"

Bride-to-be, remember: Your wedding day is a reflection of your love story, and it's okay to keep your timeline and guest list exactly how you envisioned it.

Save this post for when it's time to send out those invites, and tag a fellow bride who needs to see this today! 👇

The Hidden Timeline Trap: Don’t Forget the "Getting Ready" Buffer!

When planning your wedding day timeline, it’s easy to focus on the ceremony start time, the cocktail hour, and the reception entrance. But there’s one crucial window that almost always runs behind: the morning prep.

At Cathy Ebrada Atelier, we don’t just want you to look breathtaking—we want you to feel calm, present, and pampered before you step into your gown.

To avoid the pre-ceremony rush, here are 3 golden rules for your getting-ready timeline:

The 50% Rule for Hair & Makeup: If your stylist says it takes 45 minutes per person, budget an hour. It’s better to have extra time to sip champagne than to be rushing your eyeliner.

The Gown Window: Putting on a luxury bridal gown is a beautiful ritual, not a race. Allocate at least 20 to 30 minutes just for getting into your dress, fastening buttons/corsets, putting on shoes, and adjusting your veil.

The "First Look" Buffer: If you are doing a first look with your partner or your bridal party, add a 15-minute buffer right before it. This gives you a moment to breathe, look at yourself in the mirror, and take it all in.

💡 Atelier Tip: Designate one bridesmaid or your coordinator to be the "Keeper of the Details." Gather your invitation suite, rings, shoes, perfume, and a gorgeous hanger for your gown the night before so your photographer can shoot them immediately when they arrive!

The Ultimate Wedding Morning Guide for the Bride-to-Be

The big day is finally here! After months of planning, your wedding morning should be nothing less than magical, calm, and filled with joy. To help you take in every single moment before you walk down the aisle, here are a few essential tips for a flawless wedding morning:

1. Give Yourself a Time Cushion
Plan to be ready at least one hour before you actually need to leave. This gives you plenty of time for those gorgeous "getting ready" photos, a toast with your bridesmaids, and a moment of peace without feeling rushed.

2. Don't Skip Breakfast
It’s easy to forget to eat when the nerves and excitement kick in, but you’ll need the energy! Fuel up with a light, healthy breakfast and stay hydrated. Tip: Sip your champagne or coffee through a straw after your makeup is done!

3. Master the Dress Reveal
Your wedding gown is the star of the show. Before stepping into it, make sure your photographer captures the "hanger shots" of your dress in the best natural light. When it's time to put it on, have whoever is helping you wash their hands first, and make sure they know how to fasten the bustle or buttons!

👑 Wear Your Dream Gown by Cathy Ebrada Atelier
Your wedding morning truly begins when you step into the dress you've always dreamed of. At Cathy Ebrada Atelier, we don’t just make dresses—we design and create custom, couture dream wedding gowns tailored uniquely to you. From the intricate lace details to the perfect, breathtaking fit, we ensure that the moment you put your gown on, you feel like the most beautiful bride in the world.

4. Pack a Touch-Up Kit
Hand a small bag to your Maid of Honor containing the essentials: oil blotting papers, lip gloss, safety pins, mints, and a few bobby pins. You’ll thank yourself later!

5. Just Breathe and Soak it In
Take a deep breath, look in the mirror, and smile. Today, you marry the love of your life. Trust your vendors, let go of the logistics, and let the magic happen.
