Using traditional Indian textiles with distinctive and unique patterns for certain regions and combining them with western classic styles makes each piece very different, special and simply show stopper!!!
Here at Samsara I do personally use vintage, pre loved (second hand) sarees. Usually sold as a craft fabric, with a holes or stains. Before getting into sewing I do inspect each piece to determine quality and design possibility. Each saree has different textures, weave, weight and purpose. Choosing different saree for same pattern will give different outcome making outfit “truly one of a kind”
It’s a perfect choice for someone who is not afraid to be bold, and with confidence will carry a fusion twist of its heritage into a boring world of polyester and mass produced clothing.
