Here are some photos we took at the RCR Racing Museum and at the RCR Race Shop.
While there we were invited to come down to the shop area and we got to meet driver Austin Hill. He was super friendly to me and Grayson. Answering our questions, telling Grayson Happy Birthday, talking racing.
Again, make plans to go to RCR Racing Museum and Race Shop.
Lots of race cars of Dale Earnhardt and others, the Wildlife area, and lots more.

Grayson and I had a blast Tuesday for his birthday.
At the RCR you will find lots of Dale Earnhardt cars, photos, posters, Coke machine, diecast cars, and more. So much history on Dale, Richard Childress, and others.
There is area as you go in the door where you can purchase Tees, Caps, Decals, and more on Dale, Kyle Busch, RCR, Austin Hill, Austin Dillon, Jesse Love, and Cleetus McFarland.
OPEN Monday-Friday 10am-3pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
If you loved Dale, this is the place to be.

More photos of our visit to the Richard Childress Museum in Welcome, NC.
Over 25 different Dale Earnhardt Cars inside.
Other drivers' cars include Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Austin Dillon, Ty Dillon, Jeff burton, Ricky Rudd, Richard Childress, Dale Jr, Mike Dillon, and others.
Grayson and I always enjoy visiting the RCR Museum.
If you haven't been before, you gotta make plans to visit.
The museum is located one hour north of Charlotte, NC...
About 45 minutes from Greensboro. and an hour and 20 minutes from Martinsville, Va.
When you visit, it usually takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours to really take it all in. There are clean bathrooms in the building and seats to set if you need to take a break and a Coke machine.
It cost me less than $14 for me and my son to visit - well worth it.

I took my son down yesterday for his birthday.
It was his third time down there, for me, it was my 129th time there.
The museum is located in Welcome, NC and is open Tuesday-Saturday.

DALE EARNHARDT - 1979 - ROOKIE of The Year.
Driving the #2 car for car owner Rod Osterlund.
Cars include the Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Oldsmobile Cutlass, and Buick Regal.
First Win at the Southeastern 500 at Bristol International Speedway on April 1, 1979.
Overcame several injuries, including two broken collarbones from a crash at Pocono in July to claim rookie title.
On lap 98, the car's right-rear tire exploded, causing him to crash into the wall in turn two. Dale was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital, forcing him to miss the next 4 races.
Dale beat out Terry Labonte, Harry Gant, and Joe Milikan to win the Rookie of the year title.
