This is the Estate of Bryan Marche local guitarist and songwriter with local 1980s bands Actor, the Evidents and Crash Pony. He lived with his Dad Ted who passed years ago. Ted was a prominent Buffalo area promotion and sales rep for Columbia records (1960s-1980s) during the golden era of vinyl and classic rocks. Fabulous collections of both Ted and Bryan can be found in this sale. Mid Century Modern furnishings, lamps and smalls. Camille Kazmierczak’s lifelong love of The Wizard of Oz extended beyond collecting. She personally performed in multiple theatrical productions, portraying both Aunt Em and The Wicked Witch of the West at Villa Maria College, the Lancaster Opera House, and the Norwood Theatre in Massachusetts. Her passion for the story and its characters led her to develop meaningful connections with performers from the original 1939 MGM motion picture.
Beginning in 1997, Camille met and collected autographs from several original MGM Munchkin performers and Oz personalities who appeared at productions, events, and appearances celebrating the legacy of the film. Over the years, she carefully preserved signed books, photographs, and memorabilia that documented these memorable encounters.
Among the performers represented in her collection were:
Jerry Maren — the Lollipop Guild Munchkin from the 1939 MGM film
Margaret Pellegrini — beloved MGM Munchkin performer and longtime ambassador for Oz history
Clarence Swensen — original MGM Munchkin performer
Karl Slover — original MGM Munchkin performer known for sharing memories of the classic film
Meinhardt Raabe — the unforgettable Coroner Munchkin, whose declaration that the Wicked Witch of the East was “really most sincerely dead” became one of the film’s most memorable moments
A Collector’s Opportunity
