Finished an officer sack coat for a Rebel Major.
Using Ben Tart "Dust Jean" for the outer, Wambaugh & White cotton shirting for the lining, metal braid for the sleeves and French Blue trim around the pockets, cuffs, and perimeter of the coat. The coat is closed by C.S. Staff buttons made by Waterbury via The Button Baron.
theres extensive pad-stitching under the collar and lapel, as well as the trim and lining being set in by hand.

Private purchase cape. Half lined with black polished cotton, a black velvet inner collar, and closed with 4 Waterbury Eagle "general service" buttons from Wambaugh, White, & Company

Details on the CS Staff Officer Trousers.
Dark blue broadcloth with brown polished lining & cotton drill pockets. Metal tape trim on outseam & black metal buttons.
This pair of trousers are about 90% handsewn. I only machined the longest seams (inseam, outseam, waistband).
Headed to Appomattox NPS.
