Meet the first feature in our new Aura Brand Stories series. 💜

At Aura, we don't choose brands just because they're popular. Every product we carry has earned its place by aligning with our mission to help female athletes feel confident, comfortable, and supported.

IDA Sports is one of those brands.

They challenged the idea that women should simply wear smaller versions of men's cleats and instead designed a cleat specifically for the female foot.

This is exactly the kind of innovation I want to bring to the athletes and families who shop with Aura.

Confidence looks different than people think. 💜

This weekend our softball team traveled to Ohio for a tournament. Going into Sunday, we were undefeated and earned the #1 seed.

Our championship game didn't end the way we hoped.

The other team was talented, but throughout the game there were loud disrespectful chants and celebrations after even the smallest mistakes by our players. It was clearly intended to get in our heads, and over the course of the game, it did.

When the final out was recorded, emotions were high.

Some girls didn't want to walk through the handshake line.

Then a few teammates reminded everyone of something much bigger than the scoreboard.

"We're not stooping to their level. We're better than that."

Together, they walked across the field, shook every player's hand, and said, "Good game."

As a coach, a mom, and the founder of AuraAthletic Fit, I couldn't have been prouder.

Because confidence isn't just believing in yourself when you're winning.

It's having the strength to show respect when someone else doesn't.

It's leading with character when emotions are running high.

It's choosing the kind of athlete, and person, you want to be.

That's a lesson no trophy can teach.

Behind the Brand 💜 Meet the Founder

People often ask what it's like running AuraAthletic Fit.

The truth?

There isn't a big warehouse.
There isn't a marketing team.
There isn't a staff packing orders.

It's just me.

A woman who believes every girl deserves to feel confident when she steps onto the field, court, or track.

Most weekends you'll find me exactly where this photo was taken, at the ball field, meeting athletes and their families, cheering from the sidelines, listening to their stories, and learning what they need.

That's how I choose the products I carry.
That's how I build relationships.
That's how Aura continues to grow.

Every order is packed by me.
Every event is planned by me.
Every social media post is written by me.
Every conversation reminds me why I started.

Aura isn't just a business.

It's a mission to help the next generation of female athletes play with confidence, both on and off the field. To have a community behind her, cheering her on and supporting her.

🎓 She's worked hard for this moment.

Whether she's heading to college, moving into a dorm, traveling for athletics, or starting her first job, graduation is the beginning of a brand new adventure.

As a mom of a recent graduate, safety is one of those things that's always on my mind. One gift I love recommending to graduates is the She's Birdie Personal Safety Alarm. 💜

💙 Happy 716 Day! ❤️

Built in the 716. Inspired by the athletes who call it home.

Aura Athletic Fit was born right here in Western New York with one mission: to help female athletes feel confident, supported, and empowered, on the field, on the court, and in everyday life.

Over the past year, I've had the privilege of meeting incredible athletes, coaches, parents, business owners, and community leaders who all believe in the same thing: when we invest in girls, we invest in the future.

Today, I'm celebrating some of the amazing organizations helping make that happen:

👟 – Inspiring girls to build confidence, character, and healthy habits through movement.

🥎 – Opening doors and creating opportunities for girls through sports.

🦬 – Supporting initiatives that empower women and girls across Western New York, including women's athletics.

It's built in the early morning workouts.
The extra reps after practice.
The mistakes you learned from.
The days you showed up even when you didn't feel your best.

Every practice, every challenge, every small step forward is building the athlete you're becoming.

So if you're doubting yourself today, remember this:

As a proud Buffalonian, I love supporting local talent, and I’ve been listening to the new album from today. If you recognize the name, you may remember her incredible performances on The Voice or singing the National Anthem for the Buffalo Sabres this past season.

Her voice is powerful, heartfelt, and the perfect soundtrack for a summer drive, a workout, or just slowing down for a few minutes.
