Seeing my garment come to life was the most humbling &monumental I've ever experienced. God couldn't of blessed me w/a better model. There were so many elements against my favor, but I never gave up. W/much love &support from friends &family, I completed the project in the nick of time ! 🙏

After many fallen lashes among restless nights, yesterday I leveled up by having the pleasure of seeing my Cotton Inc. garment project (manipulation of darts) walk for the 1st time ever in my 3 years of sewing experience 😍😍 &the honor of receiving the Elaine Polvinen Endowed Scholarship 🙌💗 I wanna give thanks to all who came out Buffalo State Runway Fashion Show 11 who volunteered, designed, &contributed to a magnificent production. Dr. Lynn Boorady, Erin Habes Mr. Brinson, Professor Brianna Plummer, everyone in the Buffalo State Fashion and Textile Technology &all the students in Runway production; thank you 🙏😃💝 It's been &still is an incredible journey that testifies the product of what you are capable of achieving if you put your mind to it 🙇 Thank you Shaqüan California'Boy Beard for putting up w/me &assisting w/styling, &Maria for being my beautiful princess 👑💟

I am so extremely proud of myself reviving this dark denim blazer. Apparel upcycler Colleen Coughlin &owner of The Full Edit based in Miami, FL, came to Buffalo State &facilitated a workshop where we repurposed jean jackets. Completed jackets will be presented at the Goodwill of Western New York Fashion show this evening ! Come out &show some love 😘😘
