Meet Megan Smith, the heart behind Sound Side Heirlooms! 🤍

Born and raised on the East Coast, Megan has spent her entire life on the “Sound Side,” where family traditions and treasured keepsakes inspired her passion for creating meaningful, handmade pieces.

Sound Side Heirlooms began with something simple—a bucket of leftover oyster shells from one of her family’s many oyster roasts. On a rainy afternoon, Megan and her daughter decided to paint the shells together, and that creative day sparked what has grown into a beautiful small business. Megan proudly says her daughter is the true inspiration behind it all, hand-selecting shells, choosing designs, and dreaming up new ideas while Megan brings each piece to life.

Every oyster shell is thoughtfully handcrafted with the hope that it becomes more than just décor—it becomes a cherished keepsake, a special gift, or a lasting memory for years to come.
