Before the quilt police come after me in the comments, I bind my quilts with a twist. I use the back fabric to fold over onto the front to bind most of my quilts. I like the strength this gives a Tshirt quilt & I like a nice wide border frame.

Remember when someone would go on a trip & bring you a shirt that said “my mom& dad went to Vegas or wherever & all I got was this stupid shirt”? Well Harley shirts certainly tell a travel story & they are certainly not a stupid shirt. I love making Harley quilts because the graphics are iconic & the places tell their own story.

When you have saved every shirt & jersey since your kiddo was in Elementary school there’s no way you can not include all those precious memories so you just use them all.
