Good morning ☀️ Just wanted to share a little info.

F*ceb**k, in its infinite wisdom, has recently decided to change how many tags our business pages can use per month. It used to be unlimited. Unlimited tagging of our posted events & tagging fellow vendors is a bonus. It’s how our small businesses generate interest to a particular event, which of course leads to potential customers.

But…we are now limited to TWO (2️⃣) tags per MONTH 😖🤯😑. We have to purchase a monthly subscription, with the lowest tier getting you only eight (8️⃣) tags per month at the low cost of about $180/year 😵😵‍💫🥴. “They” want their cut of our advertising (tags).

My posts might look a little different. I will still make every effort to get you - my customers & followers - the info you need.

To my other small biz friends, have you found a work-around to this dilemma (without the extra subscription)?

Clear your calendars for ArtsGoggle! A full day of fun is set for Saturday, October 24 from 12pm-10pm. Twenty-one blocks of vendors on Magnolia St.; artisans, crafters, homemade foods, and so much more. Live music. Food trucks.

If you’ve shopped with me in years past, I’ll be on the same block - 8 - between Adams St. and Henderson St. (facing south)

Any of my vendor friends participating in ArtsGoggle this year? I do this event solo (I know I’m kinda crazy!!) but I’ve always had another vendor friend set up next to me (which is so helpful for bathroom breaks and camaraderie).

This year I don’t have another vendor to be next to. I know block selection hasn’t started, but it’ll happen soon. If you are in a similar predicament let me know. Maybe we can set up together.

Regardless, I’ll be there!! I hope the weather is a lot cooler than it is now.

If you love TEA ☕️🫖, you must try these!

💚Tinkerbell Chai from Black Poodle Tea Co. She is my neighbor vendor at the Benbrook Artisans and Farmers Market and when she opened up this packet of loveliness, OH MY GOODNESS; the smell was pure joy (I mean look at the ingredients!!! What’s not to love)! It was like an early Christmas present! I’m enjoying a cup of this as we speak and I’m in tea heaven! This is a MUST BUY. Please FOLLOW my friend’s page and get this 🙌🏼🥳

💜Plum Delicious Herbal Tea and Cherry Berry Delight Herbal Tea from Simply Herbal Tea. Another neighbor vendor at the Cowtown Farmers Market. I tried the Plum Delicious last night and it was so good! The plum, hibiscus, orange rind & cinnamon are such a great combo. Beautiful rich color after a two-minute steep. I had it hot, but I think I’ll make it iced next time for a beat-the-heat refresher! Can’t wait to try the Cherry Berry. I love hibiscus, and there was an assortment of flavors that included it. These are another MUST BUY! Please FOLLOW their page.
