Most men buy a blazer based on how it looks on the rack. The detail that actually separates a real tailored jacket from a glorified costume isn’t the lapel, the fabric, or the lining — it’s the buttons on the sleeve. They should open. If they don’t, the rest of the jacket probably doesn’t hold up either.
