FIRST $10 ALLEY SALE of the season!

This Saturday, May 9 we will kick off the summer farmers market summer season with our own favorite vintage market, the $10 alley sale! Located in the alley in front of POV or in the atrium if there is rain. Bring your own bags, vintage and deal loving friends and clothing that is easy to try garments on over.

I’m very excited and somewhat nervous to invite you into the POV studio in a new way. Thursday May 7 we will be hosting our first “Community Styling Session” from 6-8. A highlight for us is when customers overlap, engage and connect while shopping. This spring, we are making it more intentional by carving out a few hours to explore personal style together. The idea is for you to arrive with a starting point: a photo that inspires you, an upcoming event that you’re not sure how to dress for, a mood you’d like to personify, an item of clothing you already own and love —but you find you rarely wear; the possibilities are up to you. Each participant will receive focused time and input as well as learn from each other’s personal style.  In truth in the past I have rejected requests for styling in the past, feeling unqualified and not particularly stylish myself. However Annemarie has encouraged me to reframe and I feel excited to create a supportive space to try different silhouettes, colors, and proportions. While we are not professional stylists, we LOVE to play and help people express themselves.
This session will be led by POV owner Samantha duPont who sources for the shop and local artist and studio manager Annemarie Buckley (creator of all the featured lay flats). Drinks and light snacks and good company will be provided.

We are please to expand our studio hours starting this Thursday! The studio will now be open Thursday & Friday 12-6, Saturday and Sunday 11-5 🌸 we have new spring arrivals every week and wool layers and coats to cover them up on these 30 degree days 🙃
