In Denmark, Christmas has its own little helpers: Danish Christmas elves – called “nisser.” 🎄✨

For generations, these charming little characters have been part of Danish Christmas traditions. They’re playful, kind-hearted and full of personality – and they love cozy homes, family time and a little Christmas mischief.

At Klarborg, Etly Klarborg brings this beloved tradition to life through her hand-designed nisser, each with its own name, personality and story.

More than decorations, they become part of the family’s Christmas traditions – brought out year after year and filled with memories. ❤️

A little piece of Danish Christmas magic, ready to become part of your traditions too.

Meet Matheo & Aya 🎄❤️

Matheo has a serious sweet tooth and is happiest with a whole bag of candy canes – but he’s always happy to share with his elf friends.

Aya brings plenty of energy to the Christmas season. She loves singing and dancing with her teddies, giving them big hugs and taking them along on every little adventure.

Two sweet personalities, ready to bring a little extra coziness and Christmas joy into your home. ✨

Maybe you're one of those who thinks, "Aren't elves only for Christmas?" 🫶

Well, there are many different kinds of elves. The one thing they all have in common is their love of Christmas, snow, rice pudding and cosy candlelight.

✨But✨

Some elves also adore the scents of summer and the beautiful flowers that bloom all around them. That's why you'll find lovely floral details on some of our elves ☀️

After all, many of our little elves are inspired by children Etly knows – her grandchildren, the children of friends, and other little personalities who have found a special place in her heart ♥️
