Papa Pants and I went to an amazing auction Friday! We have a truck load of goodies that we are slowly unloading and cleaning! I came across this little beauty and wanted to share. This is a civil war portable glass pocket inkwell dated 1862 with initials hand engraved in the top!. Here are some others.....Facinating!

I absolutely lit up when I found this amazing WW1 Stonebridge folding lantern with MICA panels! How beautiful to see Mica used as windows. The Mica panels were
flexible when collapsing the lamp where glass was not! This piece of history made me smile! It will be cleaned up and available soon at The Find Vintage Warehouse of Burnsville or The Find Vintage Warehouse of Jonesborough! If you have a preference where it lands give me a shout!

I love Candy Corn so there are never too many.... How bout you all love it or hate it?
