Finished a bedroom set for my neighbor today! She had two dressers and two nightstands from the early 2000's that she wanted spruced up. New paint, stain, and hardware was just the ticket!! (Yes, I know we are missing a few k***s and pulls - we are waiting on Amazon.)

I thought it might be fun to do a speed lapse to show how I turn my garage into a staging area to photograph my furniture. If only the process went that fast!!

My favorite part of staging is "shopping" my house. I literally wander around my house, pulling things off walls and shelves and seeing what works with the piece I am showcasing. It is really fun!! The not so fun part is putting everything back - I wish I could fast forward that!!

Also, enjoy watching our dog, Howie, who kept wondering why I keep going in and out of the house but who enjoyed getting scratches and kisses while I hemmed and hawed.

Meet Winston! Winston served as Head Butler for a prominent family in the countryside. He is as sturdy as he is handsome and is looking for a new sir or madam to serve. His highest priority is making sure the family he works for is treated with respect and propriety as that is how he views his role. Though Winston eats his meals downstairs with the rest of the staff, he is as regal and reliable as his mohagany stature.

When I first started refinishing furniture, I would follow all the steps that Saved By Design posted. I am such a huge fan of this company and these ladies!! If you are looking to redo a project, check them out!! They always offer to share products they use and I can personally vouch for them, as I have used them too!!

My favorite thing about these ladies is their desire to keep historical pieces out of garbage dumps by using some elbow grease and love. Check them out!!
