To my sweet precious customers, who have all turned into even sweeter friends… the time has come for me to post a follow-up and not leave you hanging any longer. This has been typed out and deleted more times than I can count, and I will be still be struggling to push the post button when I’m done writing out my thoughts.
Some of you are aware of this, but most of you probably are not. Life has gotten much busier (for the better of course!) for our little family of four. I’ve taken on a new role in the PTO at my second grader’s school, Phillip has taken on more responsibility at work, and overall, our lives revolve around school work and spending time with our 2 kiddos who are growing up before our eyes.
This business was started to get me home with my first cub, Teddie. And it did just that. I closed the door to my high school science classroom and never looked back. We bought all of the equipment piece by piece and learned all of it together over the course of the last 8 years. EIGHT YEARS. I am teary eyed just typing that. The Lord in His goodness saw it fit for us to run this business for eight years. We have printed in family garages (thank you Aunt Gerry & Uncle Cliff), friend’s homes (thank you Tyler & Nicole), in laundry rooms, cold attics, and in the last few years, the shop. We’ve done the most fun vendor events & shows and have met the most amazing people! We’ve printed for everything you could possibly imagine, and what a joy it is to see somebody walk around with one of my designs on their clothing!
As we know, there is a time and a season for everything and the time has come for us to say good-bye. The equipment has already been purchased by another amazing family (I plan to share more about that later!), and I’ve officially come to terms with the fact that ACAC will forever be a memory in our hearts! But gosh what an amazing ride it was. And we owe every bit of that to YOU! You’ve supported us, encouraged us, and we can’t express our thanks enough! I have no clue what this means for us moving forward, but I know for now it means that I’m going to give Phillip a break he very much deserves. 😂
If you’re still here 😅 (and I hope that you are!), our last round of shirts will be available tomorrow at 12:00 PM! We don’t have many, but we wanted to do one last design before the machine left the driveway! These are already printed + ready for immediate pickup if you’re local! 💕
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for being here with us. Thank you for loving our family so well the past 8 years. Thank you Lord for giving us this community! We covet your prayers as we say goodbye to our “baby!”
