A year ago I stepped away for a while.

A few weeks ago I decided to jump back in.

Tonight I completed my first vendor market.

A huge thank you to Kawai The Sprouting Author for pushing me out of my comfort zone when I was ready to pack it in and head home. I truly don’t think I would have done as well without her.

Thank you to my sister Sommer her fiancé, and the kids for helping me get set up. My son Ayden and daughter-in-law Autum even brought my quality control supervisor, Sassy, by to make sure everything was still Sassy Approved™. 🐝

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, sampled products, asked questions, made purchases, shared encouragement, and supported The Walls Funny Farm.

I sold out of some things and sold others. More importantly, I got The Walls Funny Farm and the Sassy Bee Collection™ out there for people to see.

Was it perfect? Nope.

Will I do some things differently next time? Probably.

But tonight I put myself out there and actually did it.

And I’m pretty proud of that. ❤️

As I get ready for my very first vendor market tomorrow, I’ve been thinking about this journey.

A year ago, I stepped away for a while because I couldn’t figure out how to do it all. Then a few weeks ago it clicked—I don’t have to do it all. I just have to do what I know I’m capable of doing well.

So I quit overthinking it and went full steam ahead. A relaunch, a rebrand, a website, new products, and somehow my very first vendor market all happened in just a few short weeks.

The best part? Our granddaughter Sassy.

She’s the inspiration behind the relaunch, the reason the Sassy Bee Collection exists, and the boss of the Sassy Approved™ quality control department.

She may be little, but she’s the reason behind so much of what we’ve built these last few weeks and has been there every step of the way🐝❤️

Tomorrow we’ll be at our very first vendor market, and I’m excited to share everything we’ve been working on with you.

It’s been a heavy week over here on the Funny Farm. Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my service dog, Brutus. Letting him go broke my heart, but it was the final act of love I could give him.

And my turkey George has also officially left the farm for his new home. Loud, ridiculous, and occasionally a jerk… but he was my jerk. But for the safety of my grand baby I had to rehome him.

And on 2/13 our sky baby will be getting tubes in her ears, so we’ve got a big week ahead.

Thanks for loving and supporting this farm right along with us. 🤍🐾
