Sitting in the store today, I got to witness one of those little moments that reminds me why we do what we do. 💜
A mom came in with her two adult daughters, and before long, all three of them were walking around giggling, pointing things out to each other, and gawking over all the cute lingerie. 😂💕 You could just see the curiosity and wonder as they explored together.
And it made me think about how much times have changed.
For generations, conversations about our bodies, intimacy, pleasure, and s*xual wellness were treated like something you whispered about… or didn’t talk about at all. Now I get to watch a mother walk into our store with her grown daughters and create a memory out of something that once might have been considered “taboo.”
No shame. No judgment. Just laughter, curiosity, and maybe a few “OH MY GOD, MOM!” moments. 😂
That’s progress.
We may sell lingerie and some pretty interesting things 😉, but moments like this remind me that what we’re really creating is a space where adults can learn, explore, laugh, ask questions, and feel comfortable being human.
Sometimes changing the conversation doesn’t look like some huge movement.
Sometimes it looks like a mom and her daughters giggling together in an adult store. 💜
