ND100 Throwback! In November of 1984, the statue of the Virgin Mary mysteriously disappeared from the second-floor stairwell of Notre Dame on Ritter Drive. The statue was missing for six months before it was found in the cemetery next to Notre Dame. Art teacher, Mr. Jerry Grim, painted and restored the statue, which was significantly damaged.
