As I sat with my morning coffee looking at this beautiful gift, the tears started to flow yet again. 🥹💕
At first, I noticed the sweet little bookmarks and marked pages and thought oh I love it . But once I opened it, I quickly realized just how personal this gift really is.
Grit and Grace. My name. Words from a post I shared in 2024. Pictures, handwritten notes and highlighted verses that spoke directly to things I needed to hear and be reminded of at a time when sadness, disappointment and uncertainty feel a little heavy.
I believe sometimes God puts something on another person’s heart. They may not even understand why they feel led to do it, choose it, write it or give it. They just do.
And then it reaches you at exactly the moment you need it most. A beautiful reminder that His timing isn’t always our timing, but that it couldn’t be more perfect. 💕
It was also a reminder of my why. Why Grit and Grace is more than a name, and why what I do is about so much more than jewelry.
Permanent jewelry is an experience, and I hope it always will be. The conversations, the laughter, the celebrations and the memories I get to be a part of creating. And sometimes, somewhere along the way, a customer becomes a friend. 🥹💕
Kim, thank you for the time, thought and love you put into every detail of this gift. But most of all, thank you for your heart. You may never know just how much this meant or how deeply every highlighted verse spoke to me.
My heart is full. ❣️
