In this project for Liam’s room we were inspired by the Safari. So I created for him some Safari friends. In the process of designing these animals I was trying to see how can I give each animal its clear characteristics while keeping the most simplest shapes, so the fabrics could shine as well. I looked for fabric prints from the animal kingdom as well, and each friend has at least one animal print on it. So the lion is made out of bees, the elephant from sheep, the giraffe has some teddy bears on it, and the bird has its little owl flying in its wing. My wish for Liam is to dream big far and wild, and hopefully this will inspire his dreams to take him to many adventures.

I love it that every time and I work together, she challenges me with new ideas and themes to create. These are the forest creatures we made for Oz. The forest friend inspired me so much that I sketched many friends and eventually we chose these four; the squirrel and his nut, the fox and the mushroom. The reindeer, the hedgehog and the rest of the gang will have to wait for a different room. DM me for 1 on 1 session if you want them to be hanged in your kids room 🫶🏽.

When I met with Keren for our 1 on 1 session I asked her what message she wanted the gift to have and wish for Renn and her parents. We came up with the tree to symbolize growth and stability and an Owl to represent wisdom and intelligence. I had some driftwood in my collection that I love to incorporate in my work. I absolutely love the colors that Keren chose and the fact that we decided not to have details in the face. In the end it came out really beautiful and we are all so happy with the result. Thank you Keren Elmaleh Marmer for entrusting me with creating this special gift. I know it will inspire Renn whenever she looks at it.

To me, self-care is connecting with myself and my body through nurturing. I admit that it is not still coming naturally to me and I still need to remind myself of the importance of taking care of myself first. That is why I really love this definition of self-care. By taking care of myself first, I can have enough to give to others. this sentence is written on every one of my heating pillows, so you will have this constant loving reminder to fill your own cup first 😘.
