If you’ve noticed things have been a little quiet around here, you’re not imagining it. Life got busy, priorities shifted, and I found myself taking a step back to rediscover what I truly love creating.
During that time, I realized something…
When I first started Sew Sweet Makers, “makers” simply meant making handmade things. But over the years, that word has taken on a much deeper meaning.
I’ve been making memories with my family.
Making a home that’s warm and welcoming.
Making gifts with love.
Making traditions worth keeping.
Making room for new ideas.
Making time for creativity again.
Being a maker isn’t just about crochet, sewing, or crafting. It’s about creating beauty where there wasn’t any before. It’s about using the gifts God has given us to make a house feel like a home, celebrate the changing seasons, bless the people around us, and find joy in creating with our hands.
Crochet is where this journey began, and it will always have a place here. But as I’ve grown, so has my creativity.
So alongside crochet, you’ll start seeing more crafts, homemaking, DIY projects, seasonal inspiration, vintage charm, thrifted treasures, home décor, and all the little things that make life feel a little sweeter.
