Caledonia Southern Railroad and Boutique Caledonia Southern Railroad is Garden Railroad and will be open to the public soon In May of 2022 I started building a garden railroad at my house.

It is still under construction. I started experimenting with concrete and we decided to start selling statuary and other goods in July of 2023 and added the Boutique. Once the train is finished I hope to get a store opened. We do not plan to charge to see the trains.

We are removing the train and the tracks for a more modern look. We want to be a railroad for today and tomorrow.

🚂 🌵 TRAINS IN THE DESERT 🚂 🌵

Sometimes the train rides through dry, empty stretches — a wilderness that looks barren and lifeless. But God’s promise is like a railway laid right through that desert, even the driest places will overflow with life and healing, making it bloom and sing.

The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the lame will leap, and the mute will sing. Just like a railroad brings life to empty places, God’s healing power bursts forth in the wilderness of your life.

No matter how long the dry spell, God’s the Master Engineer laying fresh track ahead, ready to bring strength, healing, and joy.

No matter how parched your soul feels, remember that fresh streams and living waters are ahead. Keep your engine runnin’ steady — there’s LIFE comin’ to the desert you’re travelin’.

He strengthens the weak hands that shovel coal and the tired knees that keep steppin’. For those whose hearts are fearful, He calls out, “Be strong! Don’t fear! I’m coming to save you!”

Keep your firebox hot and eyes on the horizon—your journey through the desert leads to a place blooming with LIFE.

🚂 🔥 The baptism in the Holy Spirit is your power ticket—it doesn’t just get you on the train; it fuels the engine for witnessing.

💡 Just like a train needs coal to run, we need the Holy Spirit to power our journey as witnesses. Acts 1:8 gives us the ultimate ticket to ride—but it’s not a ticket for a mile—it’s for a cross‑country mission!

When the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, the early believers weren’t just changed—they were transformed from ordinary folks into bold witnesses for Jesus, spreading the Gospel in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria—and to the ends of the earth!

This baptism isn’t about a one‑time fill either—it’s about power for ministry, fueling every word, act, and step we take in sharing His love! 🚂 🔥

🚂 Two Stops, One Journey

🚂 John 14:17 (NKJV)
“…for He dwells with you and will be in you.”

🚂 Every train journey has more than one stop—and the same is true in our walk with the Lord. Jesus told His disciples that the Holy Spirit was already with them, but that soon He would be in them. That’s a powerful distinction.

🚂The moment you give your life to Christ, the Holy Spirit takes up residence within you. He’s the Comforter, the Guide, the One who convicts and teaches. But don’t pull the brake just yet—there’s another stop on this journey: the baptism in the Holy Spirit. That’s where the fire really gets stoked.

🚂 Think of it like this: the engine’s on the track, the crew is aboard, but the boiler needs steam. The indwelling Holy Spirit gets you rolling. The baptism in the Spirit launches you full-speed with power.

🚂 Are you on the train? Wonderful. Now ask yourself—have I made it to the second stop? Have I received the fire for the journey ahead?

🛤️ Let today be a time to ask, seek, and prepare—because there’s more track ahead, and it’s uphill.

🚂 Full Steam to Glory

🚂 2 Corinthians 4:17–18 (NKJV)
“For our light affliction… is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight… and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus…”

🚂 There’s a moment at the end of every great journey when the destination comes into view—when the steam engine slows, the gates of glory shine ahead, and the loved ones who’ve gone before are standing there waving, cheering, and pointing home. That’s the moment this image captures—a joy-filled arrival at that Heavenly Station.

The Bible calls this our “cloud of witnesses.” These aren’t just people from ancient history; they include our moms, dads, grandparents, church elders, and faithful friends who lived for Jesus and finished strong. Their lives shout from eternity, “Keep going! You’re almost there!”

Life is a long track—sometimes uphill, sometimes winding—but if we keep our eyes on Jesus, the Engineer of our faith, we’ll make it to the finish line. He already laid the track through His death and resurrection. Now He stands at the gates, arms wide open, saying, “Welcome home!”

So whatever you’re carrying—hurts, regrets, temptations—lay it down. Don’t let unnecessary weight slow you down. There’s still steam in the boiler and a purpose in your track. Keep pressing forward. The gates are ahead. The whistle’s blowing.

3. Am I looking to Jesus daily as the “Author and Finisher” of my faith?

Every journey has its share of rough tracks, sharp turns, and steep grades. Sometimes, we feel like this ride of life is filled with more breakdowns and delays than smooth miles. But friend, the track you’re on has a heavenly destination.

There’s a station ahead called Gloryland, and standing on that platform are those dear loved ones who’ve finished their journey before us. Imagine the joyful reunion: parents who’ve faithfully pointed us toward Christ, waving and smiling warmly. Our grandparents, faces lit with joy, arms open wide, welcoming us home. And at the heart of this reunion, there’s Jesus Himself, warmly smiling, gently guiding each passenger safely into the eternal joy prepared just for them.

The troubles along these earthly rails—though real and often difficult—are temporary. They’re nothing compared to the glorious celebration awaiting us at our final stop. So today, don’t lose heart. Stoke the fire, blow the whistle, and keep pressing forward with hope.

Heaven awaits. Family awaits. Jesus awaits!!!!

Lord, thank you for the hope of heaven. Comfort my heart with the truth that my loved ones await me there. Help me to stay on track, eyes fixed on the eternal joy set before me.

🚂 Full Steam to Glory
Life’s journey can be long, winding, and sometimes uphill. But if we keep our eyes on Jesus—the Author and Finisher of our faith—we’ll pull into Heaven’s station right on time.

🚂 Let go of the weight. Run the race. Keep the firebox hot.
There’s a cloud of witnesses cheering you on… and Jesus is waiting at the gate. 🙌🏼

Sometimes the climb gets steep, and it feels like gravity’s workin’ against you. But don’t throw it in reverse, and don’t stop mid-hill. Press forward, keep steam in the firebox, and trust that what’s ahead is worth more than what’s behind.

Heaven’s worth the grade. Keep pullin’.

When the Fourth of July rolls around, we light up the skies with fireworks to celebrate freedom. But sometimes, life doesn’t feel so bright. It feels more like heavy fog—uncertain, unclear, and full of guesswork.

As a conductor on the Caledonia Southern Railroad, I’ve learned something real important: when you can’t see the tracks ahead, you don’t just floor it and hope for the best. You trust your signals—those whistles, lights, and dispatches that keep the whole line safe and on track.

Friend, the Holy Spirit is our divine Signalman. He doesn’t just shine light—He is the Spirit of truth, sent by God to guide us through life’s fog, especially when we can’t see the next curve. While the world may be celebrating external freedom, we’ve been gifted an inner freedom—the kind that keeps us steady, even when the road ahead disappears in the mist.

So when you find yourself unsure, don’t panic. Don’t pull back. Just tune in to the Holy Spirit. He’ll guide you home—fireworks or fog, He never fails.

🚂 – Mind the Load Limit

Galatians 6:2–5 (NKJV)
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ… For each one shall bear his own load.”

Even the strongest freight engine’s got its limits, partner. It’ll pull mighty hard, but too much weight can drag it down—or worse, bust it altogether. The Lord calls us to help carry the burdens of our brothers and sisters, but also reminds us we each got a load we’re responsible for too.

Don’t overload yourself tryin’ to do what only Jesus can do, and don’t drop your own cargo expectin’ someone else to pick it up. Balance is key on the tracks of grace.

Title: Stay Coupled
Scripture: “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…”

On the railroad, couplers are what keep the train cars connected. Without ‘em, you’ve got a pile of metal goin’ nowhere fast. Same goes for us believers—we weren’t built to run solo. We’re meant to stay connected, encouragin’ one another and movin’ together in unity toward the destination God’s got marked on the timetable.

You start skippin’ the station stops—church, fellowship, prayer partners—and before long, you’re rollin’ backward on a sidetrack. But when we stay coupled, we gain momentum. We stir each other up, like iron sharpenin’ iron, and we help keep each other on the rails.

So don’t pull the pin, friend. Stay coupled.

Title: Keep the Firebox Hot
Scripture: “Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you…” — 2 Timothy 1:6 (NKJV)

A cold firebox ain’t worth a hill of cinders. If the fire’s out, the train ain’t movin’. That engine might look good on the outside, but it ain’t goin’ nowhere without flame.

Same goes for your faith. You can have the church clothes, the smile, and all the lingo — but if you ain’t stokin’ the gift God gave you, you’re sittin’ still. Paul told Timothy, “Stir it up.” That means poke the coals, throw on some fresh wood, and get that spiritual heat goin’ again.

Don’t wait for somebody else to light your fire. It’s your calling, your gift — get to stokin’, and roll out!

Conductor’s Prayer:
Lord, help me keep my heart burnin’ hot for You. I don’t want to coast—I want to steam forward with passion and purpose.
