Clear Weather Brand was founded in 2014 by brothers Brandon and Josh Brubaker. The Brubaker brothers are both footwear designers and have a combined 30+ years of experience building lines with some of the major footwear companies out there. Our mission is to recreate classics for the future.

Some of the best lessons in my career came long before digital tools.

When I started in footwear in 1994, every idea began with a pencil. Every sketch, pattern, and sample was another step toward mastering the discipline. There were no shortcuts just long hours, hard work, and learning from every mistake.

Thirty years later, the tools have changed, but the foundation hasn’t. Great design still comes from understanding the process, solving problems, and sweating the details.

I’m grateful I learned the old-school way. It didn’t just teach me how to design footwear, it taught me patience, precision, and respect for the work behind every product.
