It took me longer to make this reel than to wash these wool clothes.

As someone who sells pure, untreated wool, I hear it all the time: “Wool is so high-maintenance!” “Wait, I can’t just throw it in the wash?”

✨ The truth? Caring for wool is easier than you think:
• Needs washing far less often than cotton (or synthetics)
• Takes just a couple minutes to handwash + a bit of floor space to dry
• Rewards you with all the magic: naturally thermoregulating, odor-resistant, moisture-wicking, dirt-repelling, flame-resistant, breathable yet insulating, and fully biodegradable — all without synthetic treatments. It’s as if the fiber knows what our little ones need.

Tip: Keep a little “wool pile” so nothing accidentally ends up in the washing machine.

Wool is naturally odor-resistant thanks to its lanolin and breathable fiber structure. Most nights, I just air dry my daughter’s wool pajamas — even after nighttime accidents.
