💜October is Domestic Violence
Awareness Month💜

As many of you may know this is a cause that my family & I hold very dear to our hearts as in the year 2019 we experienced tremendous loss at the hands of someone who was domestically abusing my best friend Alyssa Cannon & my nephew Braydon Ponder.

With that being said I am going to be making shirts in remembrance of Alyssa Cannon & Braydon Ponder in Honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

My why: In my heart I feel as if... say your wearing your shirt it may spark up a conversation at dollar general and you may be the very one that teaches another person about warning signs to look for and it may just save a life.

some warning signs to look for in your friends and family if you may suspect that they are dealing with domestic violence.. they include the following:

* Their partner insults them in front of other people
* They are constantly worried about making their partner angry.
* They make excuses for the partner's behavior.
* Their partner is extremely jealous or possessive.
* They have unexplained marks or injuries.
* They've stopped spending time with family and friends.
* They are depressed or anxious, or you notice changes in their personality.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS: if you believe that you friend/family member is being abused be supportive, ask them questions about how they are doing. Keep in mind when a woman is in this situation she may not be able to leave or be ready to leave the relationship yet. BUT STILL SUPPORT HER NO MATTER WHAT.
