I started this page for making and giving of hats because I felt called in a sense to do so. See, I'd seen a video some time back where in another state this group would make scarves I think it was and leave them in random places with a tag saying it wasn't lost and anyone who found themselves in need could take the item and keep warm. I thought this was a terrific idea and in further looking it u
p- other areas had done similar things. Not just with scarves, but also with hats. One area did coats even. The more I thought on it, the more it hit me that while this is an awesome way of giving- that to my knowledge no one in my area (Southern Tier of NY) was doing this. Of course if I'm wrong I certainly apologise- I don't want to take away from anyone's efforts. But anyways, this is an area to see the hats, talk about em, etc.
