Every Memorial Day, me and Steve end up doing what we love most, heading toward the water, laughing, soaking up the sunshine, and just enjoying life together. Somewhere between the beach rides, the salty air, and the little moments nobody else sees, I realize more and more how sweet this life really is. We’ve been through hard seasons, beautiful seasons, and everything in between, but somehow God just keeps weaving us closer together.

Today is also a day of remembering. We pause for the men and women who served this country and never made it back home to their families. Their sacrifice gave us freedoms we often take for granted, and my heart is especially tender thinking about all the families carrying those losses today.

And then there’s our son, who served and did come home. That alone is a blessing I’ll never stop thanking God for. 🇺🇸

As for me and Steve, after all we’ve walked through together, one thing I know for sure is this… we’re together forever. Still laughing, still aggravating each other, still holding on through it all, and still choosing each other every single day. ❤️

Messy hair, coffee in hand, faith holding it all together, and still building dreams one day at a time.

Some days I’m running on grace.
