Get to know her: Hi, I’m Courtney Rutledge, the heart and hands behind Sense of Southern, a vintage western boutique born out of my deep love for all things country, western, and timelessly vintage. Growing up surrounded by the rugged beauty and charm of the southern lifestyle, I found myself drawn to the unique character and history of country, western and vintage treasures. This passion inspired me to create a space where others could find pieces that embody that same spirit. Unlike the fast-fashion pieces found in stores today, these vintage items are built to last, reflecting a time when quality and craftsmanship were valued above all else. I started this journey over half a year ago, and it has already been an incredible experience filled with fascinating stories and inspiring people. Every item in my collection is handpicked not just for its beauty, but for the stories it carries—stories of a simpler time. Sense of Southern is my way of preserving those stories and sharing the rich heritage and soul of Southern culture with you. Welcome to my journey; I’m so glad you’re here!
