Things are looking good, but we have room for more! If you’re interested in having a booth - reach out!
It could be:
An 8x8 square foot booth.
A singular bookcase, if a booth seems overwhelming.
Wall space for framed works or canvas prints.
Outdoor space in our side yard or courtyard (coming soon!)
Indoor space in our next door building. Primitive and seasonal but free!
Some perks:
Your booth could be free if you’d be available to work here 2-4 days per month in exchange. Days currently available: Sat, Sun, and Tues. We are a mostly paper system with the exception of the credit card reader which I promise is very easy to use!
Vendors have building access 24/7 with a key code. Like a fitness center but no sweating! 😅 Work on your booth whenever it’s convenient for you.
We pay all taxes and credit card fees. Vendors receive 100% of what they price their items at.
You’re welcome to work on your booth, or really any personal project at the desk while you’re here. Bring a book, knitting, your lap dog, whatever you need to have a good day! But still be available to help customers when needed. 😊
Some negatives (depending on your perspective):
This is not a flea market. We don’t want to be calling vendors to ask their “best price” or to be dealing with unpriced items. Fewer calls for you and less guessing for us!
We do not have nor plan to invest in an inventory tracking system beyond your price tags and my excel spreadsheet. Tags are removed at purchase and collected until it’s time to tally up your payouts. This happens the last week of every month. You’re able to stop in and physically look at your tags anytime, however.
We will not be developing a website. If you’re reading this, you know we’re active on social media. I’ve had a business in Lanesboro for 10 years. I had a website there for almost 3 years. It was truly the biggest headache and waste of time in my life. No thanks! (I’m still bitter about the time and expense. 😬)
We also offer consignment if a booth isn’t your thing. But I’ll save that for another post! This has been windy enough. 😆 Thanks for reading!
