So this is what we're up against. In just one week's time, 2 ouf our 3/5 Darkhorse Marines have taken their lives, one just 2 years from retirement. During that same time period, one young 3/5 Marine is now in jail for what was most likely an attempt at su***de by cop. 😪
We are hoping to open within the next year but every minute of every day while we work toward that goal, my heart is heavy with the losses of our veterans.
This isn't "just" a 3/5 issue or something that "only" affects Marines. This is an all-branch issue that takes young veterans and old, men and women, veterans who served across miles and time, most of whom were in combat.
We're doing our best to go as fast as we can to get DHL open and ya'll have been there from the beginning. Your support has meant the world to us but it will never not be needed.
Please keep these men and their families and friends in your heart.
