It’s been a difficult and emotional last few weeks….
On February 4th, 2015 Actions Over Words was born. I started Actions Over Words as a 17 year old high school kid with a mission to change the world $5 at a time. I never was that outgoing, never cared to succeed and push myself but something changed one day in February after my high school English teacher Mr. Vitale encouraged me to attend a leadership conference. It was there that I heard Mike Smith speak about this idea that so many people talk about doing things in life but never actually follow through with them. That was when Actions Over Words was born.
Actions Over Words has truly changed the person I am today. It started with a few t-shirts in my bedroom and eventually evolved into multiple retail locations, traveling around the world, and getting to print for other businesses, schools, etc across New Jersey.
The people I have met, the charitable organizations we have helped, the opportunities I have created, and the lessons I learned are enough to last a lifetime.
This year was one of the hardest and most rewarding years of my life. I began coaching high school tennis, giving back to the community that I am so fortunate to call home. Built a home with the most incredible woman in the entire world. And as of a month ago I got to make the most incredible woman in my life my wife forever.
I want to have the time to breathe, do things I never have the time to do, give back to others, and enjoy every second life has to offer because today is here, but tomorrow is never promised.
Actions Over Words last day will be 12/31/24.
I want to thank everyone who has been there for the highs and the lows of Actions Over Words. You have all helped me grow, learn, and succeed. I can’t thank you enough for coming along on this journey these last 10 years.
The final totals of money raised will come in January but we are approaching $30,000 donated to charities in our lifetime!
