🤠 This week’s Run Club is headed to the rodeo! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Trade your trail shoes for your cowboy hat (or just wear both 😉).

Here’s the plan:
🏃 Meet at Independence Run & Hike
⏰ Leave the shop at 6:30 PM
🤠 Run together to the Carbondale Rodeo
🎉 Hang out for about an hour
🏃 Run back to the shop when you’re ready
💵 Bring $15 for rodeo admission

Whether you’re coming for the miles, the rodeo, or just a fun summer evening with friends, we’d love to have you join us!

🎉 Mountain Fair 4-Miler is THIS SATURDAY! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Join us for one of Carbondale’s favorite summer traditions! Whether you’re racing for a PR, running with friends, or bringing the whole family, we’d love to see you at the start line.

📅 Saturday, July 25
⏰ Race starts at 9:00 AM
📍 Start: Prince Creek Road
🏁 Finish: Sopris Park

💲 $40 Registration
👧 Kids 12 & under run FREE!

🚌 Free shuttle buses will take runners from Sopris Park to the start beginning at 8:15 AM. There is no parking at the start, so we strongly encourage using the shuttle.

👕 The first 50 registered runners receive a FREE commemorative Mountain Fair 4-Miler T-shirt!

🎨 Best of all, all proceeds benefit Carbondale Arts, helping support the incredible community and creativity that make Mountain Fair so special.

🙌 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🙌

The Mountain Fair 4-Miler is one of our favorite community events of the summer, and we need a few extra hands to help make race morning happen!

Join us on Saturday, July 25th at Sopris Park from 7:30am–10:30am and be part of a fun morning celebrating running, community, and Mountain Fair weekend in Carbondale.

Volunteer roles may include:
🏃 Course support
🙌 Runner check-in
🏅 Finish line help
🎟️ Awards and raffle assistance
📣 Cheering on runners as they make their way to Sopris Park

Whether you can help for the entire morning or just part of it, we’d love to have you on the team.

💚 DM us if you’re interested in volunteering!

We truly can’t put on events like this without our amazing community showing up to support one another. All proceeds for the race go to Carbondale Arts

🔥 Trail season is in full swing and we’re heading to Red Hill tonight with La Sportiva!

Come join us for a fun evening on the trails and take some of La Sportiva’s newest trail shoes for a spin:

We’ll also have a LEKI pole demo for anyone looking to dial in their mountain setup this summer.

👟 Show up a little early if you’d like to grab demo shoes before we head out.

We’ll head out for a fun social trail run and stick around afterward for drinks and snacks.

Try some great shoes and of course this is an excuse to get outside with good people, come join us!! LFG!!
