Meet Clash — a once-dilapidated 1964 Econoline shell transformed into a gleaming beacon of surf culture and community.

When the Roberts family first found the weathered 1964 Ford Econoline, they immediately had a vision for what it could become. Brought back to life over time through self-taught restoration and daydreams of where it would take them, Clash has since racked up countless miles carrying boards, family, friends, and stories up and down the California coast.

We love stories like this because they embody going what it means to ‘find your Outerknown.’ Whether it’s an old van, a favorite piece of clothing, or ourselves, we’re inspired by those willing to reimagine what’s possible.
