Summer ‘26 Director’s Cut ft. . 📸

We recently worked with New Orleans raised photographer, Matchull Summers, to bring our Spring/Summer collection to life. With deep roots in the skate community, Matchull has settled in LA by way of New York, where we met him out in the water while surfing. We just loved his run-and-gun approach to photography, and Matchull has a keen eye for capturing the truth in the people he shoots and their surroundings.

Outerknown Origins: Portugal, 2014.

When we look back at our moments that shaped who we are today, our trip to Portugal with and stands out as a defining one.

This trip set the standard for what we mean when we challenge ourselves to go The Furthest Reaches. Kelly landed surfing’s first 540. At the same time, we had early iterations of product in hand—testing, wearing, and collecting real-time feedback to push them further.

We’re always looking to improve how we make things, and starting in 2027 we’ll begin to source ROC® silver cotton.
