Did you know that the delicate, handpainted dishes with strange loops on top are called "nappy plates" or "nappy dishes?" You've seen them before, and they look similar to some of the old pewter candle holders, but they're actually used for something much more random. When they were popular, they were used to serve lemon wedges as part of a tea service. Fun fact of the day!

Hey everyone! From 8am to 1pm will be doing a mini "estate sale" at Bethany Christian Church's community yard sale this Saturday. Our goal is to clear a lot of antiques, vintage art, lamps, tchotchkes, dolls, vintage hankies, Pokémon cards, etc. out of our house. We will also be selling one of a kind glass totems and tabletop bottles trees. Please come help us find new homes for some amazing stuff, and if you need a place to sell your surplus, the yard sale is no fee for anyone to sell things you've cleared out during spring cleaning!
