About a year and a half ago we were blessed with our first baby, our sweet Hannah Grace (featured on the front page). For a variety of reasons we decided to use cloth diapers with Hannah and were amazed by how far cloth diaper "technology" had come since we were kids. We are now on the verge of having our second child, a boy this time, and Beth wants to be able to spend more time with our two chil

dren. So, she quit her job as a nurse and we started The Polka Dot Hippo: a cloth diaper and baby boutique store. Our goal is to help educate new parents on the features and benefits of cloth diapers (the options truly can be overwhelming) as well as provide a great selection of the cutest clothes we can find. Our goal is to honor God in everything we do and to make an impact for His kingdom both in our hometown of Dallas and around the world. For this reason, many of the products we carry are either made in the USA or are fair trade. Also, we are currently working with a mission organization in Cambodia to get adorable baby clothes from a fair trade sewing shop they have there. The Polka Dot Hippo is all about bringing together the essential baby products with the best fashions available.
