Attention Georgia homebuyers🏡‼️ If you bought a home in 2024 and used it as your primary residence, it is time to file for the homestead exemption. Deadline is April 1, 2025. If you are eligible, this exemption reduces the amount of property taxes homeowners owe on their primary residence.

You can visit your local county’s tax assessors office for more information, to file, and other exemptions.
