We’ve been working hard to solve something we kept running into in the hat industry: creating a wool open crown that is firm, consistent, and actually made to be shaped.

Traditional wool can have soft spots and inconsistencies that make open crowns difficult to work with. So instead of simply pressing our wool into a finished shape, we developed a process that gives the material a more even distribution throughout the crown.

The result is a wool open crown that stays firm while still giving hat shapers the ability to create their own crown and brim, with out drowning the hat in stiffener!

And we’re taking it one step further.

We’re now offering unbranded blanks and multiple sweatband options for hat bars, hat makers, retailers, and anyone looking to build or expand their own hat brand.

Choose your felt colors, sizing, sweatbands, add your own liner and branding, and create something that is yours.

Our goal is to give more hat businesses the ability to offer a true hat shaping experience without forcing every customer into the $500+ rabbit and beaver price range.
