We really need to bring back our boom boom pow 🙂‍↕️

nyfw is almost here & I woke up thinking about how the first time I was obsessed with tiger print was almost a year ago. I just bought the VS tiger print dress last month btw lol & I was like omg, did I just get sold on an old trend?

I figured I would share because when you zoom out a little bit, it’s crazy to see how fashion works.

It’s okay to buy the trend, I just think with social media dominating what we perceive as “cool”, it’s a nice reminder that finding individuality in your styling is what is actually iconic.

I think that it’s an ever evolving journey too… as we go into the week & in celebration of nyfw, I encourage you to find a piece that’s been sitting in your closet & find a way to make it work in a new way that makes you excited. I’m going to do it too ✨

Not pessimistic. Strategic.

It’s no longer shallow to want a following. It’s strategic.

My clients are walking into this week with their eyes on growing their audience, increasing their impressions, and most importantly, building a persona people remember.

So when she tells you about the clothing brand she launches one day, you care, because you already know she’s the girl who loves fashion.

That’s the point.

Only one woman will leave Miss USA with the crown, but every woman has the opportunity to leave with momentum.

This week, more eyes are on you. New people are discovering you. Brands are watching. Your story is reaching an audience that may have never known your name before.

Document the week. Share your personality. Tell your story. Show what you care about. Give people a reason to stay invested after the competition ends.

Because win or lose, the goal is to walk away with opportunities that allow you to explore what’s next as yourself, for yourself.

The crown can change your life, but so can what you do with the moment. ✨

Sometimes the most fulfilling work is the work you do for others. ♡

While I’ve been a little MIA on this account (and if I’m honest, a little frustrated by that), I’ve been busy building.

I’ve been creating for my clients, refining my craft, learning new skills, growing as a business owner, and aligning myself with people I genuinely believe in… people who believe in me, too.

The truth is, so much of this work happens behind the scenes. The strategy sessions, the flights, the late nights, the ideas that turn into something bigger than any one post could ever show.

Thank you to every single person who has trusted Miss Icon with your brand and your vision. No opportunity is ever taken for granted, and getting to help tell your story will always be the greatest part of mine. ✨

Back to regularly scheduled programming ✨

After a whirlwind of France → Miami, it feels good to finally be settling back into routine.

I wanted to take a moment to highlight this project because it was very special to me. It’s a privilege to work with someone who trusts your vision completely, and I truly believe the magic happens when you understand what someone is trying to say, and help narrate that story through fashion.

My biggest hope is that people not only saw the final images, but also understood the meaning behind them. Every detail was intentional, and an incredible amount of thought, depth, and storytelling went into the curation of this concept.

Congratulations to MASTER Icon, Kamryn Buchanan. I am so grateful you trusted me to help bring this vision to life. It was truly one of my favorite projects to date. 💓✨

I am sure I have a lot more to learn 🧘🏻‍♀️

There’s no secret recipe or golden ticket when you decide to build a career based on passion, so I will never be the person that sells you glamorized realities. I have had to learn a lot the ✨hard way ✨

But the best way about the hard way is you never do it twice (example: not knowing you have to save for taxes)

Will literally never happy again 🙂‍↕️ getting a cease & desist for my OG business name was a great experience too !!
