Here is a little more about me and why I’m slowing down 🤍 My mind has always raced ahead to the next thing. A full-time career, stepping away to homeschool, going back to work, starting a shop. A good day meant everything checked off.
For the last several years I’ve been practicing something that does not come naturally to me: slowing down. Softening my voice with my kids. Pausing before I react. Sitting with my coffee while it’s still warm.
I still hurry. I still forget. I’m still learning. That’s why I wrote this guide as an invitation from one friend to another at the kitchen table, and never as advice from an expert.
