So so excited that my birthday trip is almost here!!! My husband, kids and I are headed to Kauai on Monday and we can’t stop talking about how fun it’s going to be! I’ve been before, but the rest of the family hasn’t, so I can’t wait to show them my fav beaches, snorkel spots, and hikes. We are staying in condos, half the time in Princeville and the other half in Poipu. Have you been before? Would love any recommendations!

Tutorial part 4… the neckline! Once you learn how to do this, you can do this to any tshirt that is too tight at the neck. Put on the shirt and pick any length you’d like for the V neck…whatever feels good to you. Measure from the top of the neck down. (When in doubt, cut less…you can always do more but you can’t take it back once you cut!). Fold your shirt in half sideways and start by cutting just under the collar seam at the back of the shirt until you reach the shoulder seam. Then cut the front: measure down however low you’d like your neckline to go and line up your ruler from the shoulder seam down however low you want to go (5ā€ is about right for me). Then cut with your rotary cutter and you’re done! Last step coming tomorrow…placing and sewing the patches!
