Juda Leah is a multifaceted designer, artist, and the owner of Juda Leah Atelier, custom design studio founded in 2010. She is known for her unique blend of creativity, artistry, and craftsmanship. Juda is a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology (NYC) with a BFA in Fashion Design. She has taught sewing privately for 15+ years, and loves to share her passion for design with students of all ages.

It’s been one week of living within our newly transformed living room and all I can say is… zero regrets whatsoever! It’s still a work in progress… I’ll be adding patterns to the bottom borders (after a much needed break!). It took 5 days, 2 painters, 50+ hours, 12 colors, and endless dance tracks to get here.

I could not have imagined bringing this to life without the help of the super talented Anna Laura Hafner Studio - my dearest and oldest friend (of 30 years!). We worked in tandem over 2 days to create this surrounding scene. She took all my inspiration and creative chaos, and we just went for it. Damn, we had fun!

My original inspiration (last slide) was from a shop display at Liberty of London. I said “I want to live here” and now I feel like I do! After living in a big, white box for 5 years, this feels like a big, creative hug for my soul. Never underestimate what some paint can do!

COSTUME ART • My work as an artist and designer requires me to knock down the barriers between all creative industries. To combine all mediums and modalities of art, fashion, and costume. To create - to literally give birth to what wasn’t and now is. That is art. To manipulate the form into an expressive identity. That is costume. And to create it all with your own imagination - without AI. That is what it means to be a designer, an artist, an originator. Wouldn’t it be nice to support those who walk this path of creation? Who move the cultural needle forward by bringing their own unique beauty to the world?
