Next up is a pair of Birks and several color options tested then narrowed down to these. And unexpectedly learning how much oil can change the color shading 🤪 so after too much analysis paralysis I finally decided on the chocolate fade, a custom mix. Fade, in this context, is the shading has no intention, while ombre is a gradual shade change following a pattern.

Got a new toy 🩵🩷 What would take me hours to do a fade dye job on, like on this piece of scrap, this took me ~40 min! And even less time next time ‘cause I’m learning 🤯

It’s an air brush, a cheap one, since I’m learning, but it works great! Really wanted it for this journal project but it’s gonna be used for so much of my dying going forward 😍
