Allow me to reintroduce myself. I’m Matt Hawkins, I founded Ridge Supply 11 years ago today. After being involved in a hit and run Sept 15, 2014 at this very spot in the picture (this is the burnout mark from the pickup truck fleeing the scene), I was the luckiest man alive to be alive. I founded Ridge Supply to make cyclists and runners safer by being more visible while doing what they love. Bright, eye catching socks are always moving while riding or running and that humble sock can be the difference between life and death sometimes. Over the past 11 years, I’ve been blessed to own and operate Ridge Supply as a one person operation. That efficiency has allowed me to hand sign a thank you to every order placed, literally design, sell and ship every single order for 11 years. When I started in 2015, there were already a handful of small companies like Ridge Supply selling private label socks made by Defeet, but I stumbled into a single design that made colorways iconic. The Skyline is everywhere, anywhere people ride bikes, you will see Skylines on riders feet. At the top of mountains, at the sea level coast, in the desert, in the city, on ultras, on centuries, on Pros when they are training, and in the office peeking out under slacks. The journey has been nothing short of amazing. I just want to thank each and every one of YOU. The community around this small sock brand has been impactful on my life and the lives of many of you in ways I could have never dreamed possible.
