HOW TO SPOT FAKE MOLDAVITE

As Moldavite has grown in popularity, imitation pieces have become increasingly common. Some are obvious pieces of green glass. Others are molded, textured, faceted, and even sold with certificates—making them much harder to recognize.

Here are several warning signs:

• Repeated shapes or identical textures. Genuine raw Moldavite is naturally formed, so every piece should have a distinctive shape, surface erosion, pitting, and sculpting. Multiple identical pieces may have been cast from molds.

• An excessively shiny or “wet” appearance. Many imitations resemble melted bottle glass and lack the naturally weathered character of genuine Moldavite.

• Faceted stones that appear perfectly clean. Genuine faceted or polished Moldavite commonly reveals bubbles, flowing structures, and lechatelierite inclusions—silica glass formed under extreme heat. A flawless, perfectly uniform green stone should be treated with suspicion.

• Unnaturally large or “perfect” specimens. Truly large pieces are uncommon. Oversized specimens offered at unusually low prices deserve careful scrutiny.

• A certificate used as the only proof. A seller-issued certificate is only as trustworthy as the seller providing it. Convincing imitations have also been sold with certificates.

Laboratory testing can sometimes expose counterfeits through differences in chemical composition. Tests discussed by InnerVision Crystals found abnormal lead, arsenic, chlorine, and silica levels in known fakes. However, composition alone is not always enough. More sophisticated glass may fall within expected chemical ranges, making texture, internal structure, provenance, and seller experience equally important.

Never judge Moldavite by one characteristic alone. Consider its surface, inclusions, color, shape, price, provenance, and the reputation of the dealer together. A suspiciously low price is a warning—but a high price does not guarantee authenticity.

Statues of the Realms | Arthurian Tradition

The Round Table.

Few symbols in Western history have endured as powerfully as King Arthur’s Round Table.

Although no archaeological evidence confirms Arthur as a historical king, medieval Britain preserves traditions of a warrior leader who resisted the Anglo-Saxon advance following the collapse of Roman rule. Between the 9th and 12th centuries, those traditions evolved through writers such as Geoffrey of Monmouth, Wace, Chrétien de Troyes, and later Sir Thomas Malory into one of the most influential literary cycles ever created.

The Round Table itself first appears in the 12th century. Unlike the long banquet tables of medieval Europe, no seat occupied the head. Every knight stood as an equal before the king, bound not by birth alone, but by oath, loyalty, and shared responsibility.

Around it gathered figures who would become legends in their own right: Arthur, Guinevere, Merlin, Lancelot, Gawain, Percival, Galahad, Tristan, Bors, Kay, Bedivere, Gareth, Geraint, and many others. Their stories shaped the ideals of knighthood for centuries, inspiring concepts of honor, courage, justice, mercy, sacrifice, and service that echoed throughout medieval Europe.

Modern culture often presents Camelot as little more than fantasy.

History is more nuanced.

Whether Arthur himself existed remains debated. The Round Table almost certainly belongs to literary tradition rather than documented history. Yet its influence is undeniable. Few stories have so profoundly shaped Western literature, political thought, art, heraldry, and the enduring ideal that true leadership is measured not by privilege, but by responsibility.

The Round Table reminds us that greatness is never built by one person alone.

It became one of the most unforgettable days of my life.

To everyone who came, celebrated with us, explored the Chamber of Shadows, laughed with us, shared your excitement, and filled every room with so much life… thank you.

Thank you for every conversation.
Thank you for every smile.
Thank you for every hug.
Thank you for every kind word.

And thank you for every birthday wish.

You made me feel so incredibly loved, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful way to celebrate my birthday.

Watching so many familiar faces return, meeting so many new ones, and seeing all of you experience the Chamber for the very first time is something I’ll carry with me for a very long time.

The smiles, the laughter, the gasps, the moments of wonder… those are the memories that stay.
