Blankets for sale!

If you are still looking for a great baby or toddler gift for Christmas I've got you covered! Pictured below are 3 different types of blankets that I currently have on hand. All are made with the same light & airy muslin/gauze fabric that is used for the popular Aiden & Anais swaddle blanket. And all are large and will grow with the child through MANY years!

Single Layer Swaddle Blanket (Approx. 45" × 46") - $18 each

Double Layer Swaddle Blanket (Approx. 45" x 46") - $32 each

Fuzzy backed Throw Sized Blanket (Approx. 45" x 57") - $39 each.
- Let's be honest... these would be great for adults, too!

Shipping charges apply if you need it shipped.

Also, these could be brought to Smith Center, KS next weekend (Dec 12) or could be picked up in Central City or Grand Island anytime!

What a glorious winter it has been since Christmas getting to do a bunch of fun personal sewing projects! But now I am back at it again with weighted blankets!

I just finished this 12 lb patriotic blanket last night. It will be donated to the Nebraska Christian Silent Auction which will again be held online this year for bidding. The bidding will begin next week! Excited to see how this one does for them. 😊

Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying this snowy week in January!

I had a fantastic Christmas break and have enjoyed getting to do some personal sewing for a bit. But this week when a frustrated mama of twin toddler boys said she could use some help getting them to sleep through the night, I jumped back in the saddle and made these 3 lb toddler sized weighted blankets. Aren't the fabric choices so cute?!? Hopefully they help!

And with that, my Christmas orders are DONE! 12 blankets since the beginning of November is a LOT for this mama of 5 littles! But it was so enjoyable and I'm so thankful for the extra income it has brought this year for my family!

Thank you to all of my wonderful customers who have ordered a blanket this fall! Now I'm going to take a bit of a sewing break, clean my house, and enjoy all things Christmas with my family for the next 2 weeks! See you in 2021!!!

This 13 pound double minky dot blanket felt so luxurious as I was finishing it this morning! 😍. The next time I make a blanket for myself THIS is what I will be making it out of! Bonus - the material is wider than flannel so I can make the minky blankets a bit wider than my normal blankets are usually!

Edited to add - The minky material does add extra cost to the blanket.

I've been working on these 3 blankets this week! They have each been cut (4 layers each), pinned, double stitched on the inside, flipped, top stitched, and marked for the long lines to be sewn next. Then to mark them each again and to fill each of them with the different weights their owners have specified! It's a long process but sooooo worth it! ❤️🥰

I've been a busy little bee working on Christmas blankets! Here is a 7 lb adult sized weighted blanket I finished up awhile back. I forgot to take a picture of it before sending it off to it's new owner so she graciously provided me with these 2 pictures. Beautiful! And the neutral colors go with almost anything!

Side note: If you are nervous about getting a really heavy blanket (recommended 10% of your body weight). YOU DON'T HAVE TO! You can always go lighter just like this customer did. And she thinks it is the perfect weight for her. ❤️
