Just a little update…….we are moving forward with some very exciting plans for Depot Gifts & Corner Fashions! We plan to open the store in 2025 with a refreshed vision and plan……and I think you guys will love it!! 💖 Keep watching for updates. I can’t wait to share this journey with you! 😘

Just an update. We’re having to completely rethink the vision for Depot Gifts & Corner Fashions. Our goal is to do this and do it right. We want to remain unique and have something we can be proud of. There were several brands that were sold exclusively by The Depot. Unfortunately, with the temporary closing, other local retailers have picked these brands up. I guess it’s just the nature of the business. There are lots of other great options out there for us. We know we can find them.

We are going to have to dig deep and find some brands that are unique and exclusive to us. We strive for different. For now, we are giving up the location in hopes to find something that better fits our needs. We would love to see this business continue in the community. This is completely new territory for us and we truly believed we had so many of these lines secured. There is so much we will not go into detail about, but it has definitely set us back a little.

If we reopen, we promise to bring the absolute best we can possibly bring to Muhlenberg County. We love our community and want to continue pouring in to people as much as we can.

A lot of messages have come in as to when we are opening. We would love to give you a solid answer. We are in peak season in our other two stores. We want to make sure that when we open, it is done right. We don’t want to rush to open and not be fully prepared. Thank you all for continuing to reach out. Just keep watching.

We want to give everyone an update. Tuesday morning we are going to look at a location That would allow us to completely embrace the ideas that we have for Depot Gifts & Corner Fashions. Overall, it is close to 7000 square ft. It is a hidden gem in downtown Central City. It needs minor work to get it ready for our vision.

We spent the day scouting out new looks and brands at some pretty amazing shops in Indiana. Met a lot of great people who were willing to share a lot of great information. Thankful for people who don’t mind sharing.
