ELF Quilter LLC My mom started ELF Quilter in 2013, I took over the business after we lost her to cancer in 2020. In 2022 I became an LLC. I love sewing custom orders!

The rug has been started! I have started the actual rug 3 times and had to walk away. My machine keeps skipping stitches (new needle, rethreaded top and bottom, with and without walking stitch) and the rug kept curling, so it needed a time out. I know it will be beautiful when I’m done!

We’re practice camping out of our new trailer this week before our epic road trip next month! Decided to bring my sewing machine to see by the lake while the kids swam (spoiler alert… they did not swim) I did get a jelly roll rug for said camper started and ready to go for my Janome. I think the biggest quilt I have made is my book quilt. Not only did it take a year of reading books (133 books are represented in this quilt!) but hours of finding the perfect fabric to pair with each book and of course hours of ripping paper off the back! My husband surprised me and put it on our bed in our camper! 🥰 This is a queen(ish) sized quilt. Most of these books are library books!!

I LOVE a good BOM or swap! I am trying to take it easy on swaps this year since I feel so burnt out from last year (I have also run out of room to hang things!)
I am currently doing 2 BOMs one hosted by her flowers are beautiful!
The second hosted by and I’m 2.5 months behind but I’m planning on catching up this month!

Staying accountable! Here are July’s goals. Lots to do and not enough time to do it all in. Thankfully school is out and I can focus on a lot of these things! Kids start summer rec on Monday so I will have some time to work on these 🥰
