👻 It’s going to be a spooktacular day in Downtown Centralia! With Ghost Walk tours and the Dark Market (at the Lewis & Clark Hotel, just a 3-minute walk away), there’s plenty of frightful fun to be had!

While we don’t have any ghosts in residence at HUBBUB (that we know of!), we’ve got plenty of ghostly goodies and spooky surprises to entertain witches, goblins, and all manner of things that go bump in the night! 🕷️

🎈 Oh, bother! Winnie the Pooh is turning 100! 🎈
And what better way to celebrate the world’s favorite bear than with a whole menagerie of HUBBUB critters? Happy Birthday, Pooh Bear! 💛

Once upon a time, many years ago, we met a fellow named Jacob, the founder of Cate & Levi, in New York. We fell head over heels for his story and his wonderful stuffed creatures—giraffes and hippos and unicorns, oh my! Each one was made from reclaimed wool sweaters and such, giving old things a lovely new adventure.
In time, Jacob began making puppets instead of stuffies. We went along with the change, though perhaps not without a little grumbling at first. (We did so love those stuffies!) But, as it turned out, the puppets were a very good thing indeed. Our customers loved them, too!
Just about a month ago, we filled our shelves with a splendid assortment of these colorful creatures. And goodness, are we glad we did! For we've recently received the very sad news that Cate & Levi will be closing up shop for good.
There wasn't just one troublesome thing behind it, Jacob shared, but a whole muddle of them—from rising costs to the challenges of doing business across the (Canadian) border. Sometimes, even the most wonderful adventures must come to an end. We're ever so grateful to have been part of this wild, woolly, and colorful one.
Now, a puppet is a very useful sort of friend. It can help a story find its voice, teach little hands to work together, and give an imagination a lovely place to wander. And Cate & Levi's creatures? Well, they're about as good a companion as a bear could wish for!
So do pop by HUBBUB and choose yourself a new little buddy before they're all off on their next adventure. We'd hate for you to miss out!

A little bit about Transparente: Founder and designer Homa Siddiq discovered her passion for fashion early in life. After fleeing the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan with little more than the clothes she wore, she rebuilt her life from the ground up as a single mother. Fashion became both her means of survival and her creative language—a way to transform hardship into beauty, strength, and purpose. We love her style, attention to comfort and quality, and sense of humor!

Woot Woot! Today is the day to Shop.Dine.Play in Downtown Centralia! Put on your walking shoes, gather up friends/neighbors/sister/mom/daughter (or come alone and meet new friends!) and head to Girls Night Out!
The fun begins at The Station (120 S Tower) at 11am and continues throughout downtown 'til 7pm! Get your passport to participating businesses and then head right up to the north end, where there are great businesses with fun specials — and plenty of parking!

We're getting so excited (just can't hide it!) for Girls Night Out here at HUBBUB! We have so much new and colorful merchandise to share (including some special items arriving today)!
