UPDATE: Our Centreville storefront, Serendipidee, known for its variety of merchandise & services with old fashioned customer service, will be shutting its doors after 10 years on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Everything in the store is currently 50% off. There is still plenty of inventory to choose from.
On the 2nd of January we announced the desire to "turn-key" the store in an effort to keep it on Main Street. However, as of this moment, I am saddened to say we have not been able to fulfill that dream. It is not too late! As 2016 comes to an end, and looking8 forward to the New Year, I have made the decision to let Serendipidee close. It is my dream for someone to come in and take over the store or to create their own store. The Town of Centreville needs local shops. I have given it 10 years and now it is time for me to move on to the next phase of my life and pass the torch to someone who feels inspired to create their own little shop. This decision has not been an easy one, but change is good. If anyone is interested in talking with me about the future of Serendipidee, or knows of someone that it would be a good fit for, please feel free to stop by the store or call me at 410-758-4653 between 10 and 4, Tuesday through Friday, or 10 til 2 on Saturday.
